In this video, I show you all a new a tweak, which is, in my
opinion, one of the best LockScreen tweaks available for your iPhone, iPod
Touch, or iPad. The name is 'LockSliderz', and it allows you to have up to four
sliders on your LockScreen which can be customized to do certain actions, such
as opening up an application. You can buy this tweak for $1.49 and it is
currently available from the ModMyi repository.

Apple's Newest Slip-Up
Recently Apple let the “Game Store” slip through the fingers
and into the App Store for $0.99. Once Apple realized their mistake they
quickly removed the “Game Store”. This was meant to be a system by which you
can buy an app from within an app. The “Game Store” could ultimately be another
one of Apple’s attempts at the gaming world. What do you think?

Steve Jobs Action Figure Discontinued?

The creator of the Steve Jobs action figure is stopping production and sale of the 12-inch doll because of the threats of legal action by Apple and Jobs' family. This heroic figurine in no way infringed on any of Apple's copyrights or trademarks.
This figurine included:
This figurine included:
- one realistic head and two pairs of glasses
- one highly articulated body and three pairs of hands
- one black turtleneck and one pair of blue jeans
- one black leather belt and one chair (wood and metal)
- one pair of socks and sneakers
- two apples (one with a bite)
- one "One more thing" hard backdrop
"Though we still believe that we have not overstepped any legal boundaries, we have decided to completely stop the offer, production and sale of the Steve Jobs figurine out of our heartfelt sensitivity to the feelings of the Jobs family," Tandy Cheung, the Hong Kong businessman whose company, In Icon, created the doll, says in a statement.
Is Apple over-reacting? Is the creator using Steve Job's death to gain money?

More Apple Rumors Unveiled?!
It has been said that Apple is planning a press event this
month to announce the iPad 3, iTv, or the much anticipated iPhone 5 (Seeing
that the iPhone 4s was the 5th iPhone, I doubt that will be the
name). Sources say that the event is not large-scale and is not related to the
iPad 3. DigiTimes also reported that Apple was getting ready to release two new
iPad models at the end of January at the Macworld/iWorld conference, which
seems to be one of the most doubted rumors of them all. I also seriously doubt
the release of the interactive television set, iTv. Do you think these rumors
are true? Will this media-related event occur later this month in New York?

Apple Rumor Roundup
As we all know, around this time of year there are tons of
rumors circulating about Apple’s plans for newer devices. In this article we are going roundup the biggest rumors for Apple's famous line of devices.
The iPhone 5:
Rumor has it that Apple is releasing a completely
redesigned iPhone next fall. The alleged name for the next iPhone is said to be
the iPhone 5, but the iPhone 4s was in fact the 5th iPhone. The new
iPhone is said to have a rubber or plastic bezel. This will allow connection of
the glass front to a new aluminum back. Apple is also trying to do away with that
black plastic strip that you see on the back of the 3G model of the iPad. The redesigned
antenna system that would let the device have an aluminum back without the
strip. Another huge rumor is that Apple plans to add LTE to its next hardware
update. Apple most likely held off of adding LTE to the iPhone 4s because of
the major power drainage issues that have been occurring in most Android phones
with LTE. By adding LTE Apple would have ultimately risked not being able to
last the day on a full charge. Will Apple be releasing an iPhone 5 soon? Will they add LTE to the next iPhone? Will the next generation iPhone be totally redesigned?
The iPad 3:
Apple is also said to be releasing two new versions of the
iPad to be sold alongside the existing iPad 2, which is scheduled to be
announced January 26, 2012 at iWorld. The tablets reportedly feature 9.7-inch
screens with QXGA resolution, dual-light
bars to brighten the screens, quad-core A6 model, 8-megapixel camera, and a new
higher-capacity batteries allowing them to run for twice the time as the
current iPad 2. The new quad-core A6 processor could prove to be even more of a
nightmare to jailbreak community than the A5 chip. Will there be newer models
of the iPad in the near future? Could a version of the iPad be a direct
competitor of the Kindle Fire?
Apple iTV Set:
As if all the rumors about the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 weren’t
enough, on more rumor has been added to the pile. It has been said that Apple
will be releasing a TV set of their own. The Apple TV set is said to be arriving
sometime in second or third quarter of 2012. It will be available in 32 and 37 inch models.
Will there be a new TV in the mist. Will it have a Samsung chip?
As we come into the new year there will be more and more rumors circulating. There will be tons of leaked pictures of newer and refreshed models of Apple's famous products. One proven fact we can pull from all of this is that rumors are rumors,
and there is no sure way of knowing what the next model of our favorite device is until Tim Cooks formally announces it.
